All new Multi-Pet or extended appointments require Deposit.

No-Call No-Shows seriously hurt our small family business. 

Due to a high volume of no shows, we are now requiring a $25-50 deposit from all new Multi Pet or 2+ hour appointments. We will invoice you through our secure processing system, Square, and the credit will be put toward your first grooming appointment. 

Should you need to cancel, as long as it is within 24 hours before your appointment, the deposit will be refunded or if you'd like we can credit towards a future grooming appointment. We always text the day before to confirm.

Should you no show or cancel last minute, the deposit will not be refunded OR credited toward future appointments.

We may refuse future services or require your next appointment to be paid in full in order to book your next appointment.

What Makes Us Different

When you come into Salty Dog, you will notice right away that we aren't like other salons. We keep a quiet, mellow atmosphere that promotes calm and positive behaviors; even from pets who generally don't enjoy grooming. How do we manage this? We work one-on-one on each pet, and don't keep dogs waiting in cages. Each stylist only works on one family's pets at a time. When you make an appointment with us, you are booking a solid 45-180 minutes of our undivided attention with your pets. Because of this, we ask that you please be on time to your appointments, and we do discourage early arrivals as you may distract the pets who are already in our care. We will always text you 20-30 minutes before your pet's grooming is finished, and we ask that you come to pick up within 20 minutes of completion. If you are going to be late to your appointment, please let us know as far in advance as possible so we may make arrangements.

  If you are going to be more than 15 minutes late, we may have to reschedule your appointment in order to accommodate the rest of our day's appointments, and a last minute cancellation fee of 25$ may apply.

Since we only groom a small number of pets each day, last minute cancellations and no-shows truly do effect us and our scheduling. We send confirmation texts the day before your appointment, to avoid a cancellation fee, please give us at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to make it to your appointment. Repeating offenders of no-call/no-shows or last minute cancellations may be required to keep a credit card on file and leave deposits for any future appointments, we understand that things happen but we do ask that you please respect our time.

You and your pet's time is very valuable to us. We do not answer phone calls during appointments, please be respectful of this by leaving a voicemail or sending us a text message rather than calling repeatedly. If your pet is currently in our care and you need immediate assistance, please send a text message and we will return your call as soon as possible.
